1. Portrait(Vertical) Orientation: In this type of orientation, left and right edges of image, document or device are longer than the top and bottom edges. this kind of images or documents are taller but less broader. e.g. Frame of picture, letters etc.
2. Landscape(Horizontal) Orientation: In this type of orientation, top and bottom edges of image, document or device are longer than the left and right edges. this kind of images or documents are wider but less taller. It is used where large area needs to be covered from both sides e.g. sky, mountains etc.
