Aerobic type of oxydation consists of oxydation which occurs in the presence of oxygen. It usually occurs in higher grade organisms. It includes the following steps:
Glycolysis
Tricarboxylic cycle

After which 38 no. Of ATP molecules are obtained.
Anaerobic type is worked out in the absence of oxygen. It gives less no. Of ATP molecules as compared to the aerobic type. This happens in humans after performing exercise.
