The are following non- farming activities in village Palampur:-
1. Dairy- The other common activity people feed their buffaloes on various kinds of grass and the jowar and bajra that grows during the rainy season. The mil is sold in Raigunj, the nearby large village.
2. Small- Scale Manufacturing- Manufacturing in palambur involves very simple production methods and is done on a small scale. They are carried out mostly at homes and in fields with the help of family members.
3. Shopkeeping- The traders of Palampur are shop keepers who buy various goods from whole sale market in city and village.
4. Transport- People engage in transport services Rickshawvalas, Tangavalas, Jeep, Tractors, Truck drivers etc. They carried people and goods from one place to another and in return paid for it.
