TYPES OF REACTION.....

1) Combination reaction: the reaction in which two or more substances combine and from new substance is called combination reaction.

Example - 2H2 + O2 ---- 2H2O

2) Displacement reaction : The reaction in which high reactive metal displace the less reactive metal is called displacement reaction.

Example - CuSO4 + Fe --- FeSO4 + Cu

3) Double Displacement Reaction : the reaction in which two reacting compounds exchange their corresponding ions and form two new compounds.

Example - AgNO3 + NaCl --- AgCl + NaNO3.

4) Decomposition reaction : The reaction in which breaking down of a single compounds into two or more simpler substance.

Example - 2FeSO4 --- Fe2O3 + SO2 + SO3.

5) Redox reaction : the reaction in which one substance will added and another will removed is called Refox reaction.

Example - CuO + H2 --- Cu + H20
