Explain the type s of acceleration?
Answers
in real life we usually have to deal with non uniform motion to develop the idea of acceleration letters considered A body moving in a straight line with a non uniform velocity suppose train starts from rest at station a when the train start moving its velocity increases for sometime within a few minutes the velocity becomes very high when velocity of the train increases the train is used to be accelerating the velocity changes with time the acceleration of a body is defined as the rate of change of its velocity with time there are two types of acceleration uniform acceleration and non uniform acceleration uniform acceleration its velocity changes by equal amounts in equal intervals of time now non uniform acceleration a body has a non uniform acceleration if its velocity increased by an equal amounts in equal intervals of time the SI unit of acceleration is metre per second square for MS to the power -2
the types of acceleration are given below :-
uniform acceleration
a body has a uniform acceleration if it travels in a straight line and its velocity increases by equal amount in equal interval of time .
non uniform acceleration
a body has them no uniform acceleration if it travels in a non straight line and its velocity does not increases by equal amount in equal interval of time.
retardation (or declaration or negative acceleration )
if the velocity of a body increases the acceleration is positive and if the velocity of an body decreases the acceleration is negative .
