MITOSIS: mitosis is a type of nuclear division that results in two daughter cells, each having a nucleus contains the small number and kind of chromosomes of the mother cell. Mitotic divisions ensures that all the cells of an individual are genetically identcial to each other and to the original fertilised egg.

MEIOSIS: It is a type of nuclear division that gives rise to four reproductive cells (gamests), each with half the chromosomes number if the parents cell. Two consicutive divisions occur here. All sexually reproducing organisms undergo meiosis, either for the purpose of gamete formation or to reduce the diploid cells to a haploid condition.

AMITOSIS :amkitosis is the simple common process of cereal division in prokaryotic cells like bacteria. It is direct method of cell division of the nucleus without formation of chromosomes. When the nucleus divides several times without each division being accomponaied by the division of the cytoplasm, then it is know as 'Amitosis'.
