There are three kinds of Conjunctions,and they are:-
- Co-ordinating conjunction
- Subordinating conjunction
- Co-relative conjunction
1)Co-ordinating conjunction: These types of conjunctions do the work to join any two independent statements.
Co-ordinating conjunction are further divided into four types:-
- Illative Conjunction
- Adversative Conjunction
- Alternative Conjunction
- Cumulative Conjunction
Examples:-
- He cheated in exams, therefore,got punishment.
- Either play here or leave.
2)Subordinating conjunction: These conjunctions join subordinate or dependent clause to make principal clause.
Examples:-
- The children are shouting because the teacher is not in class.
- They will leave when my parents would come.
3)Co-relative conjunction: These types of conjunctions are used for making pairs.
Examples:-
- As you sow,so you reap.
- As soon as possible ,please come.
