→static friction = The type of friction that comes into play when a body is about to move is said to be static

→limiting friction = That comes into play when the body just starts moving


→kinetic friction =kinetic friction is a force that acts between moving surface .A object that is being moved over a surface

*rolling friction
*sliding friction
*static friction
*fluid friction


rolling friction - when one body rolls upon the another body it is called rolling friction


sliding friction - when one body slide upon the another body it is called sliding friction


static friction - the friction which occurs between two stationary objects and its surface area it is called static friction


fluid friction - the friction which resists the movement of solid in fluids is called fluid friction
