There are 5 types of nouns :
1. The plural nouns transform singular nouns into plural by adding an s at the end or if they are irregular they will follow different patterns like for example : tooth - teeth.
2. The proper nouns distinguish a specific person, animal, or thing.
3. The common nouns refer to a broad class of people, places or things but they are non-specific.
4. The abstract nouns are intagible ideas which means they can't be seen, smelled, tasted, heard or touched. Example : love, creativity etc.
5. The possesive nouns convey ownership and they are normally found in short sentences, for example : Fred's car is old. But if they are at plural the apostrophe should be after for example : Tigers'.
