Answer:-

There are seven types of reaction which is depending upon the nature of reaction are :-

  1. Combination Reaction :- Those reaction in which two or more elements form compounds combin together to form a single compound are called Combination Reaction.
  2. Decomposition Reaction:- Those reaction in which a single compound breaks down to give two or more simpler substances are called decomposition reaction.
  3. DisplacementReaction :-Those reaction in which a more reactive element displays a less reactive element from its compounds arecalled displacement reaction.
  4. Double Displacement Reaction:- Those reaction in which two different atoms or group of atoms are exchange are called double displacement reaction.
  5. Precipitation Reaction :- Those reaction in which aqueous solution of two compound on mixing react to form an insoluble compound which separate out as a solid (called precipitate) or swachh an insoluble compound is formed when a gas is passed through the solution of a compound are called precipitation reaction.
  6. Neutralisation Reaction :- A reaction in which an acid reacts with a base to form salt and water is called neutralisation reaction.
  7. Reduction - Oxidation Reaction:- Reduction - Oxidation in terms of gain or loss of oxygen or hydrogen.
