Plastic pollution causes harm to humans, animals and plants through toxic pollutants. It can take hundreds or even thousands of years for plastic to break down so the environmental damage is long-lasting. It affects all organisms in the food chain from tiny species like plankton through to whales.

Evil affects :

1. Plastic bags are eaten by some animals and birds . This causes indigestion , suffocation (or) blocking of digestive tract causing death.

2. The microplastics are translocated from gut to the circulatory system

3. The Chemicals used in plastics also effect the aquatic organisms.

4. Most plastic polymers are resistent to bio-degradation.

5. Release of hazardous substances ftom plastic products to air , extraction fluids , water , etc , affect the environment.
