Use of fungi-
1. Many organic acid such as lactic, fumaric acid are produced by fungi
2. Many plant disease are controlled by fungi like Trichenderma.
3. Fungi are the source of food.
4. Fungi are good source of vitamin, amino acids nd carbohydrates.
5. Some fungi used in medicine.

Algae -
1. Brown algae used in goiter medicine becz they have high iodine content.
2. Agar-agar used in making pilles ointments.
3. The seaweed like Fucus nd laminaria used as food for sheep nd cattle.
4. Terrestrial algae play important role in biology of soil.
5. Blue green algae is the chief agent of nitrogen fixation in rice field.

Bacteria -
1. Bacteria are the source of antibiotics nd vaccine.
2. Lactic acid bacteria are necessary for butter, curd nd cheese.
3. Acetic acid bacteria produce vinegar by fermentation of sugar solutions.
4. Bacteria play important role in genetic engineering.
5. Some bacteria used to increase the fertility of soil.
