Explain the use of concave mirror as solar concentrators with the help of a raydiagram.

  1. Concave mirror converge the rays of light falling on it.
  2. so they are used as solar concentrators in solar cookers, heaters etc.
  3. The point where all the reflected rays converge is called as focus.
  4. So substance to be heated , should be placed at focus.
