Explain the use of ' harvest ' and 'war ' in the poem

In the poem, No Men are Foreign, the poet has tried to portray the difference between times of war and times of peace. ... So, by the term, peaceful harvests, the poet has actually tried to hint at the calm and peaceful environment people enjoy during the period of peace.
