The Dust Of Snow by Robert Frost describes about how he felt impossible to step out and complete his work on a winter day and due to which he felt sullen and despaired. And that is when he saw the vision of a crow on a hemlock tree shedding flakes of snow, which changed his mood.

With an enlightened mood, he was thankful for yet another beautiful day.

Robert Frost's 'Dust of Snow' is a very short poem full of imagery. The way poet has potrayed the winter months , the hemlock tree and the crow made an image of that in the minds of people. He used hemlock tree which symbolises death and sorrow . The way he used imagery made us think that about a winter landscape with a hemlock tree and a crow coming and shaking the tree and making us enlighten. The poet by this poem wants to tell that there is always an optimistic hope even in the darkest of times.
