Uses of micro - organisms are as follows:-

▪️ They decompose the waste and sewage water. By the process of decomposition, then keep the environment clean.

▪️ Micro - organisms help in the formation of curd and other milk - based products.

▪️ Process of fermentation is used for producing alcohol from grains and fruits, bread from flour as well as in acid, lactic acid, vitamins, etc,.

▪️ Oil slick is cleared with the help of some specific bacteria.

Harmful effects of micro - organisms:-

▪️ They spoils food. In hot and humid air there is fungal attack on food.

▪️ Microbes produce enterotoxins and causes food toxic is fungal attack on food.

▪️ Microbes causes diseases in plants, animals and human. Amoebiasis, typhoid, cholera, hepatitis, gasto are caused by water food before microbes.

▪️ Microbes causes diseases like malaria, dengue are caused after mosquito transfers microbes in human blood.
