Summer (December-February): Hot. Hell, to Curitiba standards, but just very hot to others. Mosquitos and flies are literally everywhere. It rains a lot, and every year a tree crushes a car or an entire neighborhood gets flooded.

Fall (March-May): Starts hot and ends cold. The middle is the moment when respiratory diseases take over because the weather changes all the time. Monday is cold, Tuesday is hot, Wednesday starts at 5°C but it rises to 26°C by lunch and so on.

Winter (June-August): Temperatures drop and oscilate between one and two-digit values (around 15°C at the hotter days, 5 to 0°C at the colder ones). The biggest disappointment of Curitibanos is that, even being cold, there’s no snow. The last time it snowed here was in 2013, and before that, on 1970s. So winter is cold here, but not enough.

Spring (September-November): Basically a reverse fall, with more hot days than cold ones, but less unstable. Another season where no respiratory system is spared. Not because of the instability, but because of pollen. There’s so much pollen in the air that, if we collected all my sneezes during spring, we could power a small country.

I hope the answer is clear
