1.Multiple cropping is the best method of increasing production on the same piece of land. it is the most common way of increasing production on a given piece of land. all farmers must grow at least two main crops ; many for growing potato as the third crops in same piece of land.
2.By using biological means
This can be a very good step by the cultivator. The farmers can opt for the bio pesticides, bio fertilisers (manures) so that the land doesn't get polluted with the chemicals by the chemical fertilisers and can be used for many years.
3.Chemical fertilisers will definitely give a good yeild at the beginning,

2. We can use home made manure as it don't pollute the soil and helps in increasing productivity .
