Weaving is a process of converting warp and weft yarns into a fabric and interlacement of these two yarns perpendicular to each other to form it.Weaving is done on loom and weaving mainly consists of three primary motions- Shedding, picking and beating up. The weaving process consists of five basic operations, shedding, picking, beating-up, left off and take up. Shedding: Separating the warp yarns into two layers by lifting and lowering the shafts, to form a tunnel known as the 'shed'.
