\textb{TENDENCY\: OF\: GAIN\: OR \:LOSS\: OF\: ELECTRONS : }

Chemical reactivity of a element depends upon the ability of its atom to donate or accept electrons

⏩VARIATIONS OF TENDENCY TO LOSE ELECTRON DOWN THE GROUP:

Tendency to lose the electron goes on increasing down the group

Heya dear
The answer is here

♢ Tendency of gaining electrons

The tendency of atoms to gain the electrons  decreases as we go down the periodic table.

The tendency to gain electrons i.e.(electronegativity) decreases as the atomic radius increases due to the increase  in number of shells.

♢ Tendency of losing electrons

Low ionisation energy it means that atom can easily lose an atom

The tendency of atoms to lose the electrons increases as we go up in the periodic table.

☆☆☆☆The elements  on the left side lose  their electrons  fairly easily and the elements  on the right side of the periodic table do  not lose  their electrons  very easily.

hope it helps
