The vertical power sharing:-

Power is shared among the different levels of the governments.

Power involves the highest and the lower levels of government.

The lower organs work under the higher organs....

Vertical power sharing is when power is shared between levels of governments like union , state and local government bodies.

They don't have independent powers and also no system of checks and balances as the constitution specifies the power of each tier of government.
