The walls of a classroom are at rest when observed from its surroundings. At the morning wherever we find them they appear at the same place even in the afternoon. They are not motile. As they don't move, they are at rest!

Actually it depends on the reference point, or from where you are watching it.

For e.g. If you are watching it from outer space, then it is in motion as the earth is in motion, so the walls move around with it.

But if you are standing infront of it, then it is stationary because the relative velocity of you and the walls are equal.

(If you have any problem understanding it, then ask)

Thankyou. :)
