Explain the way how plants get water by osmosis through root hair.

1.The soil water is extremely dilute solution of salts.
2.soil water concentration is more dilute than that of cell sap in the root hair therefore water will move into the vacuole of the root hair by osmosis.
3.The entry of water dilutes the contents of the root hair vacuole so that it becomes more dilute that of its neighbouring cell.
4.so water passes into the neighbouring cell which in turn becomes more diluted.
finally water enters the xylem vessels.
