You can reduce soil erosion by:

  • Maintaining a healthy, perennial plant cover.

  • Mulching

  • Planting a cover crop – such as winter rye in vegetable gardens

  • Placing crushed stone, wood chips, and other similar materials in heavily used areas where vegetation is hard to establish and maintain.

Answer:The ways to prevent soil erosion are

  • Planting shelter belts

planting of trees to create shelter also works effectively.

The rows of trees are called shelterbelts they reduce the wind flow and loose soil is not blown away moreover the roots check corrosion by water.

  • Strip farming

Large field and divided into strips strips of grasses are left to grow between the crops this break up the force of the win and this method is known as strip cropping.

  • Contour Ploughing

By ploughing along the counter line water does not run down the slopes.

This is correct answer because it is given by my maam in school .
