then our food proceeds towards the stomach with the help of esophagus with the help of peristalsis movement.

it reaches the stomach where hydrochloric acid works with pepsin that gets activated in the presence of hcl.here the digestion of proteins takes place.

now the food comes in the small intestine where trysine ,bile juice, pancreatic juice combine with the food and the digestion is in progression.

now the food moves to the large intestine where a large amount of water and minerals are absorbed and mostly the waste is left over.

this waste now through rectum is excreted out of the body.
