Process of Election in India
Explanation:
- Election in India is done under the election commission of India (ECI) through EVM ( electronic voting machines). ECI is a constitutional body and it completes the election process whenever required according to our constitution.
- In municipal council's and below like Pradhan of village, Gram panchayat etc the election is done under state election commission, which is also works under ECI.
- For different posts like President, member of parliament, member of legislative assembly, member of panchayat etc the constitution of India described clearly their terms and conditions including election process. Election in India is done under these constitutional conditions only.
