1. if direction of force and displacement is same . then, work done is positive .

2. if direction of force and displacement is opposite. then, work done is negative .

3. if both are perpendicular to each other .then, work done is zero because angle between force and displacement become 90° . ( as work = fdcos∅ , cos90° = 0)

4. if there is no displacement . Work done is zero .
