Electric bulb converts the electric energy into light energy
Explanation:
- In electric bulb electric energy is converted into the light energy hence bulb glows ( conservation of energy that is it can be converted from one form to another and can not be created or destroyed)
- Electric current flows through the wires of bulb and produced the heat energy which heat up the filament and produces light energy
- Filament used in electric bulb is made up of tungsten metal and this is the vital part of electric bulb to work properly, if heat energy is greater than required it may damage the filament hence bulb will not glow
- Also continuously long use of bulb damage the filament and results in fused bulb
