After entering into the dropper, the ink will be present at the lower pressure than the outside atmospheric pressure. Liquids like ink cannot flow from lower pressure to the higher pressure. Thus, the ink remains inside the ink dropper without dropping unless more pressure is applied to it by pressing its rubber
