circulatory system is also called blood vascular system . heart is a size of clinched fist situated in the thoracic cavity. arteries carry pure blood from heart to body and veins carry impure blood from body to heart . heart is covered with pericardium membrane and there is a pericardial fluid . heart has four chambers. right auricles recieves the deoxygenated blood from vena cava and it goes into right ventricle through one way valve. this deoxygenated blood goes to lungs and lungs pure it . this oxygenated blood goes to left auricle and by a valve it goes into large muscular left ventricle. left ventricle muscles pump blood to the parts of body . there is a pace maker in the heart which generate electric impulses for contraction and relaxation of heart . this is a circulatory system .

The study of the blood flow is called hemodynamics. The study of the properties of the blood flow is called hemorheology.
