When the Electricity is sent to the Geyser, the electricity is converted into the Thermal energy which is sent to the Iron rods, that are present in the Geyser.
When the water is sent, they will be in thermal contact with the hot Iron rods.
According to the Thermal Equillibrium the Heat of the iron rods is sent to the water.
Thus the water is heated.
