The strong muscular walls contract (squeeze),pumping blood to the rest of the body. on the surface of the heart,there are coronary arteries,which supply oxygen-rich blood to the heart muscles itself . .....The artria and ventricles work together ,contracting and relaxing to the pump blood out of the heart
