light enters throw the iris followed by lens and vitreous at image made at retina and transfer to the brain

The light rays coming from an object enter the eye through the cornea and pupil and get refracted through transparent lens. The beam of light converges and forms a real and inverted image on the retina and gets converted into electrical signals that are sent to the brain through optic nerve. Brain interprets these signals and produces a vision.
