Working of human eye -----
(1)
Light rays fall on retina through cornea and retina contains rods and cones cell which senses the light and generates action potential .
(2)
Photo pigment in human eyes composed of "Opsin" and "retinal" which are connected to each other .
(3)
Light induces dissociation of retinal from opsin it causes structural change of opsin .
(4)
Resulting in change of permeability of cell membrane . As a result potential difference generated .
(5)
This produce signal that produces action potential and these action potential are transmitted to cortex region of brain where impulse are recognize and image formed on retina .
1.
the light coming from an object enters the eye through the cornea and the pupil.
2.
the lens focuses the light rays to form real, inverted and highly diminished image on the retina.
3.
the sensory cells(rods and cones) of the retina get activated and generate electric signals.
4.
optic nerves send electric signals to the brain.
5.
the brain interprets these signals and renders the erect image of the object
