Filtrataion :-

  • The renal artery brings the waste such as glucose, amino acid, salts and excess of water . This filtrate passes into Glomerulus and through Bowmans capsule it outers into the Tubular part of the nephron.

Selectively reabsorbed :-

  • Some substances in the initial filtrate, such as glucose, amino acids, salts and a major amount of water are selectively reabsorbed as the urine flow alongs the tube.

Collecting duct :-

  • The waste and the urea finally enters into collecting duct from where they passed through urethra and stored into the urinary bladder.

Answer:

Each of your kidneys is made up of about a million filtering units called nephrons. Each nephron includes a filter, called the glomerulus, and a tubule. The nephrons work through a two-step process: the glomerulus filters your blood, and the tubule returns needed substances to your blood and removes wastes.
