Soda-acid fire extinguishers produce carbon dioxide to smother the flames. This carbon dioxide is produced from a chemical reaction between theextinguisher's contents: baking sodaand an acid

Answer:

Soda acid fire extinguisher consists of Baking Soda and dilute hydrochloric acid solution.

Baking Soda is kept in a glass container which is immersed in the solution of dilute HCl. When we press the button the glass container breaks and Baking soda gets exposed in the solution of dilute HCl, there a reaction takes place and a lot of CO2, which is released which is used as an extinguisher.
