Thermal:
first coal is heated in a furnace to produce heat. through the steam with high pressure it moves 2 turbine chamber where the turbine rotates through the high pressures steam then the shaft rotates and the generator connected 2 shaft produces electricity.
Hydroelectric:
through a dam, water collected in a reserviour behind dam rises at a hight so,the kinetic energy of flowing water is converted 2 potential energy . the fast flowing water rotates the turbine n then shaft is rotated n through generator electricity is produced.
