Answer:

Water molecules are heated by the sun and turn into water vapor that rises into the air through a process called evaporation. Next, the water vapor cools and forms clouds, through condensation. Over time, the clouds become heavy because those cooled water particles have turned into water droplets. When the clouds become extremely heavy with water droplets, the water falls back to earth through precipitation (rain, snow, sleet, hail, etc). The process continues in a cyclical manner.

Explanation:

  1. due to high amount of heat or sunlight or rise in temperature, evaporation takes place in water bodies like ocean, seas, lakes, rivers, etc.
  2. this evaporated water vapour , starts moving in the vertical direction.
  3. after it as reached a certain altitude where temperature is cool, vapour in the gaseous state gets solidfied into small/tiny snow like particals. these snow like particals condense together and form a cloud.
  4. when temperature decreases these clouds start melting and appear in the form of rain drops.
  5. these rain drops bring rains on lands and even on water bodies.
  6. after it has reached the ground, same process is repeated. thus it is a repetitive process
