Factors influencing global population distribution. Population distribution is the spread of people across the world, ie where people live. Population density is the number of people living in a particular area – usually 1 square kilometre – and can be written as total population / land area.

population is not evenly distributed anywhere in the world people mostly Windows areas, which are accessible, productive and rich in natural resources more than 90% of the world's total population live in about ten percent of the total land surface the number of people living in one square kilometre area of land is called as your population the density of population varies from one area to another some areas have more than 1000 person living in one square kilometre where as many areas are inhabited according to the density of population we are roughly divided into three reasons thickly populated areas, moderately populated areas, sparsely populated areas.
