Here ia the proof of the Thales' Theorem...

when any line given parallel to any one side of a triangle , which when passes intersecting the other two remaining sides of that triangle ,
divides those two sides in  \underline{Proportion}.

This can be explained as , suppose ABC is a triangle , and line L passes parallel to the side BC of that triangle intersecting the sides AB and AC in two distinct points M on AB and N on the side AC.

then the line L divides those sides AB and AC in a proportion.

i.e.

\boxed{\underline{ \frac{AM}{MB}}}=\boxed{\underline{\frac{AN}{NC}}}
