(ii) L :stands for the term when the second last carbon of a compound has -OH group on left hand side

l: stands for leevo rotation which means tha a substance is said to be leevo rotatory only when it is capable of bendind a plane polarised light to left side which when passed through its solution

(iii) M: stands for molarity

m:stands for molality
