they are saying that what should we add with 1/15 and 2/15 so it will become 11/15

just like

x + x + x = 11/15

1/15 + 2/15 + x = 11/15

3/15 + x = 11/15

x = 11/15 - 3/15

= 8/15

answer will be 8/15...... i think there is something wrong in ques.... but hope it helps you mate;)
