what is impermeable membrane? explain it ?i m unable to understand the answer properly!!
give me a brief explanation so that i can understand properly!!

it says that if we place raw egg in water cell of the raw egg will act as an impermeable(which doesnt'allow any liquid substane to come in).
and the boiled egg will not show any change because the membranous covering (झील्लीदार कवर) has been dead.

Permeable membrane r those which allow entry and exit of all particles.

u must have read that cell membrane is selectively or semi permiable that is they allow entry and exit of some selected particles.

There is other type of membrane ^impermeable^ which does not allow entry and exit of any particle.
So as in case of shelled raw egg outer covering is of calcium carbonate which is impermeable to water that is it does not allow water to enter so osmosis doesnt occur and there is no chsnge in size
