Therefore distance b/w school and home=9/4
Distance b/w school and post office=3 1/2=7/2
Distance b/w post office and market=5 3/4=23/4
Distance b/w market and home=2 1/8=17/8
total distance covered=9/4+7/2+23/4+17/8
=18+28+46+17/8 = 109/8 = 13 5/8
