Earth fulfills the need of human beings mainly in the three ways stated below:
1. It is the only planet where life exists. This is due to the quantity of gases present in the atmosphere of earth.
2. Its magnetic force stops the harmful solar or UV rays from getting to us.
3. It lies in the circumstellar habitable zone (CHZ). Here the water can be present in liquid form and whithin this zone life can grow.
