Explanation:

In this experiment three mature air dried bean seeds are taken and tied to a glass slide at three points. The first seed is kept at the bottom, the second in the middle and the third in the upper most part. The glass slippers is immersed in the container filled with water. And in this the the bottom seed is completly immersed in the water. The middle one is in the surface of water. And the third one is completely in air. Now they would be kept aside for germination. Now after a few days you will notice that the middle bean start germinating since it gets adequate amount of sunlight and water. But the other two will not show signs of germination since one is completely immersed in water and doesn't get enough oxygen. Whereas the other bean would not germinate though it gets oxygen but it doesn't gets water

Through this experiment we can prove that oxygen and water in adequate quantity is necessary for the germination of a seed
