explain three example that show force of friction is
desirable

Friction is a necessary evil for human beings. If u look around and just use your brain a little, u will find the Friction playing its role. So here I'm mentioning some advantages and disadvantages of Friction in daily life.
ADVANTAGES OF FRICTION
Friction plays a vital role in our daily life. Without friction, we are a handicap.
1.We can not fix a nail in the wood or wall if there is no friction. It is friction which holds the nail.
2. A horse can not pull a cart unless friction furnishes him a secure foothold.
3. you can sit on a chair but won't be able to get upon without Friction.
4.You can't wear your dress, flipper etc without Friction.
5. Friction helps you in writing as your pen or pencil won't work on the Frictionless surface.
6. Friction helps in applying the brakes.
7. Coffee mug stays on the dashboard
8. Shuffling across a carpet to shock someone
9. Dragging of atmosphere with earth is possible
10. Helps to prevent the life on earth by burning asteroids.
DISADVANTAGES OF FRICTION
Despite the fact that the friction is very important in our daily life, it also has some disadvantages like:
1. The main disadvantage of friction is that it produces heat in various parts of machines. In this way, some useful energy is wasted as heat energy.
2. Due to friction, we have to exert more power in machines.
3. It opposes the motion.
4. Due to friction, noise is also produced in machines.
5. Due to friction, engines of automobiles consume more fuel which is a money loser.
6. Machine efficiency is decreased: energy input is lost to heat
7. Getting shocked by doorknobs
8. Rugburn
9. It counteracts movement and so it takes more energy to move, it can cause unwanted heat (e.g. in machine parts), and it wears things out like shoes.
10. Forest fires are caused due to friction between branches of trees
METHODS OF REDUCING FRICTION
There are a number of methods to reduce friction in which some are discussed here.
1.USE OF LUBRICANTS:
The parts of machines which are moving over one another must be properly lubricated by using oils and lubricants of suitable viscosity.
2.USE OF GREASE:
Proper greasing between the sliding parts of machine reduces the friction.
3.USE OF BALL BEARING: In Machines where possible, sliding friction can be replaced by rolling friction by using ball bearings.
4.DESIGN MODIFICATION:
Friction can be reduced by changing the design of fast-moving objects. The front of vehicles and airplanes made oblong to minimize friction.
1) Nails and screws hold boards together by means of friction.
2) Power many be transmitted from a motor to a machine by means of a clutch or a friction belt.
3) In walking, driving a car, striking a match, tying shoes, or sewing fabric together we find friction to be a useful force. When
4) Sand is placed on rails in front of the drive wheels of locomotives, cinders are scattered on icy streets, chains are attached to the wheels of automobiles, and special materials are developed for use in brakes.
5) Aeroplanes can't fly without moving on the ground (Frictional Force)
6) For erasing a mistake, the rubber has to show friction with the paper.
7) It enables us to walk forward because it provides a counter-force to which the direction of the human being. on the other hand
You can use any of these instances!!!!
