  • The extreme level of stress: Victims of violent crimes go through extreme levels of stress, depression, and anxiety. In some cases, victims suffer from PTSD( Post-traumatic stress disorder). People feel worthless.
  • Suicidal thoughts: Victims of violent crimes continuously get suicidal thoughts. The feeling of being worthless and loneliness never leaves them.
  • Thoughts of societal pressure: Most of the time, victims are subject to societal pressure. The feeling that 'something is wrong with them and 'no one will accept' them comes into their mind.
