The movement of the plates creates three types of tectonic boundaries: convergent, where plates move into one another; divergent, where plates move apart; and transform, where plates move sideways in relation to each other.

Thre movement of the plates creates three type of boundaries such as follows :

  1. Convergent boundaries.
  2. Divergent boundaries.
  3. Transform boundaries.

Convergent boundaries :

  • In Convergent boundaries two plates join together such as (Two small piece of land collide with each other to form a single plate).

Divergent boundaries :

  • In Divergent boundaries two plates move separately from a single plate such as (Moving or dividing a single plate into two piece of plate).

Transform boundaries :

  • In Transform boundaries a single plate moves separately in two different ways (A single plate dividing into two half and moving towards different direction).
