IN 1930 CONGRESS LAUNCHED A MOVEMENT CALKED CIVIL DISOBIDIENCE MOVEMENT UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF GANDHI JI . AS A SYMBOL OF DISOBIDIENCE IT WAS DECIDED TO BREAK THE UNJUST SALT LAW NON - VIOLENTLY BY DEFYING THE SALT ACT.
CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE GAINED STRENGTH ASSUMED BROKE OUT ALL OVER INDIANS . THE MOVEMENT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS .
IT CARRIED FORWARD THE UNFINISHED TASK OF NON-COOPERATION MOVEMENT .PEOPLE BOYCOTTED NUMBER OF SCHOOLS , COLLEGES ANS GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS . PEOPLE STOOPED PAYING TAXES . THEY LIT GOVERNMENT THINGS INTO BOMFIRE .
THE BEST THING WAS THAT THIS MOVEMENT WAS TOTALLY NON - VIOLENT.......
